Day 4: Singapore

For our last day in Singapore, we visited the island playground of Sentosa, home of Resorts World and Universal Studios. We are both big amusement park fans, so we couldn’t pass up a chance to check out USS.

The atmosphere was lively and upbeat. The park was well designed and had many Universal classic rides like Jurassic Park, Transformers, Shrek, and the Mummy.

My favourite ride however, was a USS exclusive, the Battlestar Galatica dueling rollercoasters.

This was a very intense pair of rides, with lots of upside down action, high speed, loop de loops, and just great fun if you are into it. We also enjoyed the Waterworks show, filled with action and pyrotechnics.

After Universal, we explored the grounds of Resorts World Sentosa, which is another entertainment complex filled with many hotels, an aquarium, water park, casino, and more.

At night, we took the tram back to the mainland. We had dinner at VivoCity, a mall across from Sentosa.

Before I went to bed, I had to take one last dip in the pool.

It’s been a great few days here in Singapore – see you in a couple years! Next stop: Macau.
